This demo and rebuild project was designed for a young couple and was to be the family home forever! This was a challenging block, surrounded buy small scale unit developments the job was to design a home with good winter sun and spaces for the children to connect and play and an upper level for the parents that was separated yet connected to the children below but to access views where possible. The clients love of the Hamptons style is evident throughout and the spaces proportioned to suit. Now the home of a family of 6 the spaces work exactly as they were planned and every corner of the house is used. An MBA award winning project in 2024. This demo and rebuild project was designed as a forever home for a young couple. Surrounded by smallscale unit developments, the challenge was to create a home with ample winter sun, child-friendly spaces, and an upper level offering views and parent-child connectivity. The clients’ love for Hamptons style is evident throughout. Now home to a family of six, every space functions as intended. This project won an MBA award in 2024.
